It takes the community to install a LIVING ROOF on the CAPACES Leadership Institute’s new Passive House in Woodburn, Oregon. This 2,800sf farm worker's union hall is on track to be the first certified Passive House office building in the United States. In addition to a minimum 75% energy use reduction from a conventional building, this project will manage all of its water runoff on site with the use of vegetated swales and a living roof.
