An especially creative & interesting preschool with a strong emphasis on community & ecology, this passive solar concept explores a reconfiguration of their existing school building to add additional classroom space, while making the circulation, kitchen, and utility spaces work better. The design also adds new administrative spaces and a more welcoming entrance & gathering place to be made of natural and recycled materials.
