This project required the conversion of a 7,300 sf school building into a remarkable new kind of multigenerational community center. This required a legal Change of Occupancy process, which included documenting the existing building and upgrading it’s fire, life, safety standards and design. The building was also substantially modified to provide for a new commercial grade kitchen and entirely new public restroom design configurations that provide for many more building users. The new facility and it’s programs are thriving.
