The Early Learning Center at Pacific University is led by a true visionary. He approached communitecture to work with him on a concentric outdoor classroom that would be most conducive for children to learn about ecological patterns and systems. This little round wood timber frame building resulted. Nestled into an outstanding learning nature playscape, it has sliding panels for views and to protect from the elements, built in seating with white boards and shelving, and a living roof meadow of native wildflowers and grasses.
