During the outstanding tenure of Randall Koch as the executive director of Sitka, this revolutionary outpost for an ecological approach to art experienced an extended period of growth and expansion. The community responded to his efforts with generous support. Randall asked communitecture to provide these various visionary images to help him guide the process of growth and change at the site. The program includes expanded classroom and admin space, new housing, an interpretive art-walk concept throughout the upper site, and a new amphitheater that is nestled into the natural bowl shape at the NE corner of the main building.
