The new design enables them to grow all their annual food needs on site, with annual and perennial gardens, a substantial greenhouse, and shed buildings. They also want to thrive creatively, so they have enhanced water management to intervene in surface sheeting, and use their roof and landscape terraforms to channel runoff to a natural swimming pond. With a vast pollinator meadow, play spaces, and a writer’s retreat of course!
