Clements ADU

This historic home in Sellwood has been reinvigorated with a renovation and the addition of a partial basement level ADU. To add the ADU, the antique Victorian home had to be lifted several feet in order to gain enough height for new living space to be added. One major challenge was to adjust the height and scale of the existing structure while maintaining it's historic character. The new details would need to be convincing, and consistent with how a Victorian design would handle a partially underground living space.
 
We think that the photos speak for themselves, and the family now has additional living space and extra monthly income to work with.
