Cully Green Co-Housing

This project is one of the most exemplary co-housing models in the NW region of the USA. Finished in 2020, it's mix of duplexes and triplexes offer a range of scales and affordability, while dovetailing increased density into the urban fabric. The homes are all set within a plentiful landscape of a mix of trees, gardens and flowers, including a mature conifer grove. Outstanding shared design features include a large community building with gathering areas, common kitchen, guest apartments, and  auxiliary laundry facilities. There is a very large bike corral, an outdoor workshop and tool building, and even a hempcrete sauna. The walkable paths function like village streets lined with social porches, and they are accented with special artistic intersections. There are also special artistic touches set within the buildings, with art panels and thematic metal and glass features within certain gables around the site.   

Communitecture provided site planning for the entire project, all duplex and triplex unit schematic plans and elevations, technical drawing review, all special site program feature designs and art work, and on-call construction review.
