Swallowtail School

This community is inspired by Rudolph Steiner’s unique philosophy of the creative development of the child in relation to the wider community and the natural world.  The new community school hopes to feature highly sculptural spaces, simple and hand-wrought elements, and an ecological design that connects all learning environments with the beautiful natural surroundings.  The creative program will include elementary and middle school buildings, administration, assembly and other gathering spaces, outdoor learning environments, and on-site energy generation, water catchment and treatment systems.
