How often do you see nature’s progress on the manmade world? What most likely comes to mind is an abandoned city or theme park or house overrun by trees, vines, and grass shooting up through the sidewalk’s cracks. But what about the critters, who often affect their surroundings even faster than the plant kingdom?

In this unique series, artist Aganetha Dyck collaborates with bees to showcase their amazing (and sometimes humerous) progress on simple figurines. The sculptures "remind us that we and our constructions are temporary in relation to the lifespan of earth and the processes of nature.”
This is certainly a valuable reminder when designing our built environment: Nature always acts last, and likely not how we might imagine!
