PLANT SWAP!

In conjunction with City Repair's Village Building Convergence, come gather 'round in community and exchange your plants for ones that you do not have yet!

Here's how it works:
You divide your plants that need dividing before hand. Put them in a clearly labeled container & water well before travel. Bring them to our site and gather some plants from what others bring. You can bring bulbs and seeds to trade as well.

Thanks to permaculture expert Marisha Auerbach of Herb'n Wisdom for organizing this community event, as well as the wonderful energy found at Permaculture Rising & Lil' Starts!!

I was out of town for the plant swap. Are there going to be any others around town this year? I may just end up putting my extra starts up for free on craigslist unless there is somewhere else to donate...

Hi Alyssa,

Reaching out to your community is a perfect way to share your extra starts! NextDoor.com is also a great resource for meeting & sharing with neighbors (think craigslist for just your community) - it may already be started in your neighborhood?!

Unfortunately, we don't know of any similar plant swaps happening in the immediate future, but will certainly share on our website & facebook.com/communitecture if we do.
